Bybit is now supporting different types of deposit methods for our users. Here is a detailed operation process so that you can easily deposit by (a) Crypto Deposit, or (b) Buy Crypto using fiat currency — Fiat deposit . 

 

(a) Crypto Deposit

A crypto deposit is the transfer of crypto from an external wallet or another exchange via blockchain transaction to your Bybit account. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to make a crypto deposit. 

 

Note:

— Please only deposit the supported coins using the supported chain listed on the Bybit asset page.

— Bybit currently only supports direct transfer. Please do not transfer your assets using the Smart Contract method.

— For coin deposits that require a deposit tag/memo, kindly be sure to fill in your deposit memo/tag correctly. You can find your memo/tag from the deposit window. Depositing without a memo/tag or with the wrong memo/tag may lead to the loss of assets. For more information, please refer to the Bybit Deposit FAQ.
 

 

Deposit via Web

Step 1: Hover your cursor over the Assets at the top right-hand corner of the Bybit home page. Then click on Deposit to enter the deposit page.

Step 2: Select the coin that you would like to deposit.

Step 3: Select the chain type that you will use. After acknowledging the information message, you’ll see your Bybit deposit address. You can either scan the QR code or copy the deposit address and use it as the destination address to which you can send the funds.

 

The deposit will be credited to your Funding Account by default. To change your default deposit account, you can set it up in the following two (2) ways:

1. Select Deposits auto channeled to your Spot, or other accounts.

2. Head to the Settings page under Accounts and Security
 

 

Deposit via App 

Step 1: Go to Assets located at the bottom right-hand corner of the page, and choose on the Deposit button.
 

Step 2: Select the currency, or enter your preferred currency in the search box to proceed to the next step.
 

Step 3: On the Deposit page, select the correct chain type and you can either scan the QR code or copy the deposit address, and use it as the destination address to which you can send the funds.
 

 

The deposit will be credited to your Funding Account by default. To change your default deposit account, select Deposits auto channeled to your Spot, or other accounts.

 

(b) Buy Crypto Using Fiat Currencies

You can now easily buy BTC, ETH, USDT, and more using EUR on Bybit. The service is mainly provided by using the channel below:  


Fiat deposit

It is now possible for traders to deposit fiat currencies on Bybit so they can use their fiat funds to purchase coins directly on the platform. The list of available fiat currencies supported on this function can be found here.

In order to deposit fiat into your Bybit account, please go to the Buy Crypto → Fiat Deposit page. Once the deposit is completed, the funds will be credited in your Funding account and you can purchase the crypto using the fiat balance anytime.
