    What is the Standard Subaccount?

    Standard subaccounts allow you to manage smaller standalone Bybit accounts nested under a single Main Account to achieve certain trading objectives.

     

     

     

    What is the difference between a Standard Subaccount, a Custom Subaccount and a Custodial Trading Subaccount?

    A Custodial Trading Subaccount is an account type that allows investors to entrust their funds to professional trading teams for asset management while a standard or custom Subaccount is managed by user themselves.

     

    A Standard Subaccount will only require you to enter a username upon creation and can login via Account Switch from Main Account while the Custom Subaccount will need to set up a password to allow you to login via the Subaccount Login page.

     

     

     

    What is the difference between the Standard account and the Unified Trading Account for my subaccount?

    Under Unified Trading Account type, all spot trading are merged together and all assets in the Unified Trading Account can be used as collateral to support your trading activities while a Standard Account will have all trading activities separated, users must hold the supported assets for that respective products. 

     

     

     

    What is the maximum number of Standard Subaccounts allowed? 

    Each Bybit Main Account can support up to 20 standard subaccounts. Please note that this limit does not take into account custodial subaccounts.

     

     

     

     

    Do Standard Subaccounts have a minimum balance requirement?

    No, there is no minimum balance required to keep a standard subaccounts active.

     

     

     

    Are there any fees involved for creating and maintaining Standard Subaccounts ?

    No, creating and maintaining standard subaccounts will not incur any fees.

     

     

     

    Does Bybit charge any fees for asset transfer between the Main Account and Standard Subaccounts?

    No, asset transfer between the Main Account and standard subaccounts does not incur any fees.

     

     

     

    Can I bind/unbind Google Authenticator for my Standard Subaccount?

    Yes, you can login to your standard subaccounts Account & Security page to set up the Google Authenticator. However, you won't be able to Unbind GA for your standard subaccounts directly. For this action, you will need to connect to your main account and unbind GA by clicking on the “Settings” button of the relevant standard subaccounts and select “Account Security”.

     

     

     

    What assets can be transferred to a Standard Subaccount?

    All coins listed under the My Assets page can be transferred to your standard subaccounts.

     

     

     

    Can I change the Standard Subaccount's username after it has been created?

    No, the username for a standard subaccounts cannot be modified once created.

     

     

     

    I didn't make any BTC deposit into my Standard Subaccount. Why does the "Total Assets" column show that I have BTC under my Standard Subaccount?

    This is for reference only, not an actual conversion. Bybit automatically calculates and quotes the total value of your assets as BTC equivalent for display purposes.

     

     

     

    Does Standard Subaccount support API trading? 

    Yes, you can login to your Main account and manage it from the Subaccounts settings page

     

     

     

    Why am I not able to create a Standard Subaccount?

    The creation of standard subaccounts is no longer supported for users with a Main Account UID ending with 00, 01, 02, 03 and 04. However, they will be able to create UTA subaccounts.

    Can I delete my Standard Subaccounts? 

    Yes, you can delete your standard subaccounts from the Subaccount Settings on your Main Account.

    Does the trading fee discount of the Main Account apply to the Standard Subaccount?

    Yes, the trading fee discounts applied to the Main Account will be inherited by the standard subaccounts. 

     

     

     

    Can a Standard Subaccount be registered as an Affiliate Account? 

    No, only the Main Account can be registered as an Affiliate Account.

     

     

     

    Can I register a Standard Subaccount using a referral code?

    No, only the Main Account can use the referral code for registration. Standard subaccounts cannot join referral programs.

     

     

     

    Can a Standard Subaccount join campaigns or receive rewards from the Rewards Hub?

    No, only the Main Account can join campaigns and claim rewards from the Rewards Hub. 

     

     

     

    Can a Standard Subaccount receive trading bonuses or coupons? 

    No, only the Main Account can receive trading bonuses or coupons.

     

     

     

    Can a Standard Subaccount join the trading competition? 

    Currently, no, but soon you will be able to register either under the standard subaccounts or the Main Account.

     

     

     

    Do Standard Subaccounts support asset exchange?

    Yes, standard subaccounts can perform assets exchange.

     

     

     

    Do Standard Subaccounts support deposits and withdrawals?

    No, all deposits and withdrawals must be done via the Main Account.

     

     

     

    How does fund transfer work between the Main and Standard Subaccounts?

    Main Account can perform 2 way transfers between the Main Account and all standard subaccounts created as well as transfers between two subaccounts. Standard subaccounts can only perform one way transfer to the Main Account.     Will the P&L from my Standard Subaccount merge with the Main account?

    No, the P&L of standard subaccounts is segregated from the Main Account.

     

     

     

    Can I login to my Standard Subaccount and Main Account using the same browser at the same time?

    No, you can only login to either one account using the same browser.
