Bybit's Unified Trading Account (UTA) offers a wide range of coins as collateral and borrowable assets. 

 

Collateral assets in UTA are assets that traders provide as collateral to secure and support their trading activities without selling the settlement assets. They can be used as margin balance to secure users’ borrowings, open and maintain positions, and also to cover potential losses resulting from Derivatives positions. Currently, traders have the flexibility to customize the assets to be used as collateral from the Unified Trading Account page.

 

Borrowable assets are assets available for borrowing in the UTA, and borrowing any amount incurs interest, with the interest rate subject to real-time fluctuations.

How to View The Supported Collateral and Borrowable Assets

Login to your Unified Trading Account and go to the Margin Trading page. Tap on the Three-dot Menu in the upper right corner and select Margin Data.

 

How to Customize Collateral Asset Settings (Unified Trading Account)

Before you proceed to customize your collateral assets, it's important to be aware of several key points:

 

1. The option to customize collateral assets is exclusively available in the UTA Cross Margin and Portfolio Margin mode.

 

2. USDT and USDC cannot be customized and will automatically serve as collateral assets.

 

3. If you wish to deactivate a specific asset from your collateral, you must first fully repay all borrowed amounts of that asset.

 

4. You are not permitted to deactivate collateral settings for certain assets if this action would raise the Initial Margin Rate to 80% or higher.

 

5. You cannot activate the collateral settings of a non-collateral asset with a negative wallet balance to prevent any adverse impact on your Initial Margin Rate and Maintenance Margin Rate.

 

6. Collateral Assets Customization is not available for Institutional Accounts. 

 

Go to your Assets page and select Unified Trading Account. Tap on your selected assets and you will be able to customize the collateral asset settings.
