    How to Complete Individual Identity Verification (KYC)In June 2023, Bybit formed a strategic alliance with SATOS, a leading crypto service provider based in the Netherlands. This partnership reaffirms our dedication to tailoring our services to meet your needs. To complete verification with Bybit (powered by SATOS) as a Dutch national, there are three verification steps needed:Mandatory QuestionnaireBank VerificationIdentity Verification     Here’s a step-by-step guide to completing Individual KYC verification on Bybit (powered by SATOS). For more details on submitting a request for Business KYC verification, please refer to FAQ — Business KYC.   Step 1: Click on the profile icon in the upper left corner to show your Account Settings page and click on it again to display your Profile page. Tap on Identity Verification to enter the Identity Verification page. Alternatively, you can click on your KYC status to show the Verify Now button. Lv.1 Identity VerificationStep 2: Click on Verify Now to start your verification, and select your nationality and country of residence. Step 3: Click on Next to submit your identity document and selfie.   Note: If you are unable to proceed to the facial recognition page after several attempts, it may be that the document submitted doesn’t fulfill the requirements, or there have been too many submissions within a short time period. In this case, please try again after 30 minutes. If the issue cannot be resolved, please reach out to our Customer Support by submitting a case here. After we’ve verified your information, you’ll see Lv. 1 Verified stated in the center of your Verification Center page. Your withdrawal amount limit has now increased. For more details, you can refer to this article: FAQ — Individual KYC.      Lv.2 Identity VerificationIf you require higher fiat deposit and coin withdrawal limits, click on the Upgrade Now button in the Verification Center to submit your Proof of Address.   Please note that Bybit (powered by SATOS) only accepts Proof of Address documents such as utility bills, bank statements and residential proof issued by your government. Proof of Address must be dated within the last three months. Documents dated older than three months will be rejected. For more information, please refer to FAQ — Individual KYC.   After we’ve verified your information, your withdrawal amount limit will be increased. For more details, you can refer to this article: FAQ — Individual KYC. You can double-check your submitted information from the Identity Verification page. Click on the eye icon to view your information. Please note that you’ll need to enter your Google Authenticator code to view your information. Should there be any discrepancy, please reach out to our Customer Support by submitting a case here.   Step 1: Hover to the avatar icon on the right side of the navigation bar, then click on Account & Security to enter the Account & Security page.       Step 2: Click on Verify Now in the Identity Verification column under Account Info to enter the Identity Verification page.      Step 3: Click on Verify Now under Lv. 1 identity verification to start verifying your identity. Step 4: Select the country or region that issued your ID, and your identity document type to upload proof of identity document(s). Click on Confirm to continue.        Step 4: Complete the Mandatory Questionnaire, the terms and conditions, and click on Submit. Please confirm that you are a resident of the Netherlands before submission. Once confirmed, you cannot modify this information.    Once you have done the Mandatory Questionnaire, the results of the questionnaire review will be delivered promptly and considered completed. You will be redirected back to the Identity Verification page.  Please note that at this stage, you are still not yet onboard to Bybit (powered by SATOS). To complete your Identity Verification, you will need to complete both Bank Verification and Identity Verification as following steps.      Step 5: Complete the Bank Verification. There are two methods to complete a Bank Verification: Additional Questionnaire or Fiat Deposit.     a. Verify by Additional QuestionnaireIf you are unable to make a Fiat Deposit, you can complete the Bank Verification by completing the Additional Questionnaire.    b) Verify by Fiat DepositIf you have iDEAL/SEPA available, you can proceed to make a Fiat Deposit to complete bank verification. To learn more about how to make a Fiat Deposit using iDeal or SEPA, please refer to How to Deposit Fiat Currencies on Bybit (powered by SATOS). Please be aware that for verification purposes, you can only deposit once and any refunds of the verification deposit can only be initiated seven (7) days after the initial deposit. To apply for a refund, go to your One-Click Buy Orders page, and select the respective order details. Then, click on the Request a Refund button.      Step 6: Start your Identity Verification. Select your identity document type to upload proof of identity document(s). Click on Confirm to continue.   If you want to verify your identity using the App, you can also click on Verify with App.       Step 7: Before you start, prepare your identity document and make sure it is valid. Take a photo of the front and back side of your document. Alternatively, you can choose to upload manually. Then, click on Next.  Notes:Please make sure the document photo clearly shows your full name and date of birth.If you are unable to upload photos successfully, please make sure that your ID photo and other information are clear, and that your ID hasn't been modified in any way.Any type of file format can be uploaded.Step 8: Complete your facial recognition scan through your laptop’s camera. Congratulations! You have successfully completed your Identity Verification!Upon successfully completing all three (3) verification steps, your account will be forwarded to Bybit (powered by SATOS), Powered by SATOS for verification.
